Wooddale manufactures custom wood screen doors for historic homes, new construction, and unusual openings. Standard doors are made from kiln-dried, clear vertical grain fir at 1" thick, with custom designs and thicknesses available.

    Share the opening size, location, style preference, screen choice, and a few photos if you have them.

    Confirm the details

    We’ll review the request, discuss design and material questions, and confirm what measurements are needed.

    Approve the quote

    Once specifications are clear, Wooddale provides a custom quote and expected production timing.

    Build & coordinate

    Our shop manufactures the door. If you need measuring or installation, we can coordinate an experienced local technician as part of the process.

Do I need exact measurements?

No. Rough opening dimensions are enough for the first conversation. We’ll confirm what measurements are needed before the door is built.

Can you match an existing or historic design?

Yes. Upload photos and choose “Match an existing door” in the form. Wooddale regularly works with original architectural details and unusual sizes.

Which screen material should I choose?

Aluminum is a practical everyday choice, bronze develops a traditional patina, and pet-resistant mesh is designed for homes where durability matters most. Choose “Not sure” and we’ll help.

Does Wooddale install screen doors?

Wooddale manufactures the door. When measuring or installation help is needed, we can coordinate an experienced local technician so those steps feel connected to the Wooddale process.
